A German wine festival with an old friend from a previous life...

A fun weekend in Germany, re-connecting with an old friend - from junior high! I met Teresa and Chris in Mannheim after their academic conference (no steamrollers sighted - although it was a disappointingly industrial town), and we had fun exploring the area, finding much more charming towns and packing about three days' worth of cathedral-visiting and festival-going into a weekend. Here Teresa and I are with a bunch of revelers at the wine festival in Bad Durkheim. (We had only meant to take an atmospheric picture; the posing became slightly more traumatising....)
