La rentree

So I'm back from another jaunt to France... this time was filled with lots of meetings and a conference. The guys from my research group in Cambridge came down for the big European Conference on Surface Science (ECOSS... nothing to do with Scotland!) and here we are one evening at a cafe after a day filled with information being thrown at us. It was actually really good to connect with surface scientists working all over the world: seeing new things that are being done, and getting to talk up my work to others, getting advice and constructive criticism from others. I finished up the time in France with a few days in Lyon with Alex and Suzanne and Co. Good refreshment-time!

...and next week: Germany. The nomadic life continues.

Grrrreat, Ann, great.  You're really climbing the friendship ladder.  You know people don't count as real friends unless they're jocks.
