Hooray for lovely housemates!
Dear Katherine made me chicken soup last night - a delicious birthday
dinner - and a rich chocolate cake for the day. (I could only handle une petite tranche but it was yummy!) Then we curled up sipping tea and watching Jane Austen's Emma and talking about Paris with Lydia... it was a good girly low-key birthday evening.
